Modern technology for the beach visit

Michael If it's sunny on the weekend, we often drive the 15 minutes to the beach in Pacifica to read and watch the surfers. There are always two folding chairs ready in the trunk, and for the past few weeks, a beach tent that we bought at Costco for the bargain price of $40. This tent is absolutely amazing.

To set it up, you simply need to take it out of its approximately 1.5-meter-long nylon bag with a 25cm diameter and pull on two strings, then it snaps open. The expert fills the sandbags peeking out from the bottom edge with sand, sticks a few plastic pegs into the ground, and it stands stable, even on the sometimes quite breezy beach of Pacifica. It provides shade and blocks the wind, and you can comfortably lie underneath with our folding chairs, which I bought many years ago at the outdoor store REI. And guess who is currently typing away on their laptop and writing these lines?

To complete my happiness, I still need a handcart with balloon tires, which can be used to easily pull all the equipment over soft sand. The "Magna Carta" cart on the left edge in illustration 1 with its thin tires is indeed ideal for carting around crates of drinks on paved ground, but it sinks into the soft sand and has to be carried. The company wheeleez.com Offers a corresponding lunar vehicle at the moon price of $249 (illustration 3), but who has room for such a monster in their trunk?
